FreeGamesOnline Originals
These are the 36 games we build ourselves. Most free game sites, including most of this one, run the same licensed catalogue you will find on hundreds of other domains. These do not exist anywhere else. There are no ads, no purchases and no sign-up screens inside any of them, they start in one click, and you are welcome to put any of them on your own site for free.

Put any of these on your site, free
If you run a school site, a parenting blog, a classroom resource page or your own games site, you can embed any original here at no cost. You do not need to email us first. Copy the snippet, swap in the game you want, and it will work. All we ask is a visible credit link back to the game page.

Why we make our own games
A free games site is easy to fill and hard to make worth visiting. The standard approach is to license a catalogue that every other site has licensed too, which leaves visitors choosing between identical shelves.
So we started building our own. It is slower, and there will only ever be a fraction as many, but they are ours: we choose what goes in them, we keep advertising out of the games themselves, and we can make decisions a licensor never would, like a kids' platformer where you cannot lose and a shooter with no people in it.
More about how we pick and check what goes on the site is on our methodology page, and who is behind it is on about.
Common questions
- What makes these different from the other games on the site?
- Everything else in our catalogue is licensed from a games network, which means the same titles appear on hundreds of other sites. These 36 are built in-house and published only here. They also carry no ads, no purchases and no sign-up screens inside the game itself.
- Are they really free?
- Yes. No download, no account, no payment, and nothing to install. Open the page and press play. The site is supported by ads around the game, never inside it.
- Can I put these games on my own website?
- Yes, and you do not need to ask. Every original can be embedded with a standard iframe pointing at its /play/ address. We only ask for a visible credit link back to the game page.
- Do they work on phones and tablets?
- Most do. They are built to run in a normal browser with touch controls, so they work on phones, tablets and school Chromebooks without an app store.
