Glide is a 3D downhill snowboarding game you play in one unbroken run. You drop in at the frozen summit and ride all the way to the village below, and the light goes from cold blue dawn to gold as you descend. The mountain is different every time. Each run is built from a seed, so the ridges, cornices, powder bowls, treelines and rails you meet are yours alone. You can copy a challenge link to send a friend down the exact same mountain and compare runs. What makes Glide more than a downhill racer is the pot. Points you earn are not safe. They sit on the board until you bank them, and you bank by landing a jump, finishing a carve, or threading a line cleanly. Crash before you bank and the pot goes with you. The mountain keeps offering bigger risks right when you have the most to lose, and deciding when to take the safe turn is the whole game. Different parts of the mountain also change what your controls do. A powder bowl rewards a deep held edge, a rail section asks for something else entirely, and the game tells you when the rules have shifted. There is no fail screen and no lives. How to Play Glide

Press Space or tap the screen to drop in. Hold the Left or Right arrow key to carve that way — the edge digs in and throws up a wall of snow, and a held carve is how you keep your speed under control. Press Space to ollie off rollers and lips; hold Space in the air to hold a grab, which is worth more but takes longer to land. On a phone or tablet your controls sit in the bottom two corners: left on the left, right on the right, and tap anywhere to jump. Press R to restart at any time.
