What is a daily puzzle game?
A daily puzzle game gives every player the same puzzle on the same day, then resets at midnight with a new one. Because the puzzle is shared, you can compare how you did with anyone else who played it, and because there is only one per day it takes minutes rather than swallowing an afternoon.
Do I need an account to play these?
No. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to download and no email required. Open the page and the puzzle for today is already there. Your progress is kept in your own browser, not on our servers.
Will I lose my streak if I miss a day?
There is no streak to lose. We deliberately do not punish you for missing a day, because a daily puzzle should be something you look forward to rather than an obligation. Skip a week and today's puzzle is still waiting when you come back.
When does a new puzzle appear?
Each game rolls over to a new puzzle at midnight UTC. The puzzle is generated from the date itself, which is why everyone in the world gets an identical board without us needing to store anything about you.
