Most "educational games" sites want a teacher account, a class roster and a subscription before a single student plays anything. This page is the opposite. Every game below opens in a browser tab and starts. No login, no trial, no card, nothing to install on a locked-down school machine.
These are the games from our own collection that are genuinely useful in a classroom: times tables and fractions, sight words and spelling, world capitals and flags, telling the time, and a gentle introduction to the periodic table. We built most of them ourselves, which is why they carry no advertising, no purchases and no chat inside the game itself.
If you want one on your own class page or school site, you can embed any of them for free with a credit link — there is a copy-and-paste snippet on our originals page. And if you are covering a class at short notice, start with the daily puzzles: everybody gets the same board, it takes five minutes, and it needs no preparation at all.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do students need accounts to play these?
No. There is no sign-up, no email address and no login for any game on this page. A student opens the link and plays. Nothing is stored about them on our servers, which also means there is no roster to set up before a lesson and nothing to delete afterwards.
Are there ads inside the games?
Not inside the games we build ourselves, which is most of this list. The site is paid for by advertising around the page, but the games themselves contain no ads, no in-app purchases and no chat. If you are projecting on a whiteboard, use the direct play link for each game and the surrounding page furniture goes away too.
Will these run on school Chromebooks?
Yes. Everything here is a normal web page, so it runs on Chromebooks, iPads, ageing classroom PCs and phones without anything to install and without admin rights. There is no Flash, no plugin and no app store step.
Can I put these games on my own class website?
Yes, and you do not need to ask us first. Every game we build can be embedded in your own page with a standard iframe pointing at its play address. We only ask for a visible credit link back. The full instructions are on our originals page.
What subjects and ages are covered?
Roughly ages 6 to 12. Maths covers times tables, fractions, addition speed drills and number logic. Literacy covers sight words, spelling, anagrams and typing. There is also world geography, US state capitals, telling the time and an introduction to the periodic table.
Are these suitable for a substitute or an indoor recess?
That is exactly what most of them are for. Each one explains itself in a few seconds, needs no setup, and can be stopped mid-way without losing anything. The daily puzzles work well as a five-minute settling activity at the start of a lesson because every student gets the same board.
