This was released at about the same time as the NES. In the US, the
NES prospered and the SMS withered, however, in Europe, people
thought that the SMS had better graphics and gameplay than the NES.
I'm not sure if this is true, but the SMS did very well in Europe
& many, many games were produced.

Review |
| OVERALL: 4.5/5 |
This was an overall good system. The graphics were
better than the NES, for sure, but gameplay was sometimes
worse, in that ported arcade games were almost always choppy
and hard to play. |
| Legality:4.5/5 |
This system is OLD, and units are no longer being
produced and games aren't either. Massage can use GameGear
ROMS too, but playing those would be illegal since GameGear
is still being sold & games are still being produced. So
stay away from GG roms! |
| Download Time:2/5 |
Games can be pretty large, (75-130kb) but then, they
have great graphics, so that is probably why. For most
games, the download is worth it. |
| Fun Factor:4.5/5 |
There are plenty of really fun games for this system,
but the amount of choppy arcade games & stuff like that
take it down a notch. |
| Graphics:4/5 |
The graphics are good, better than the NES and much
better than the Ataris and the C64. |
| Ease of Use:5/5 |
You must unzip the games & emulator in the same
directory, and then run massage. You must show massage where
you keep the games, and then select one. |
